  • "Massive help in preparing my child - a worthwhile read"

I’m the process of preparing my child (and myself) for starting school, I found this a very helpful guide. Since discovering my child has some learning and behavioural issues, I have been nervous for this stage. Even with an older child already in big school, I was looking for some help (and reassurance) on how to get through this with our youngest. A highly recommended read and some amazing insights into preparing the family for another significant chapter in life.

  • "Absolute must have book for starting school"

Wow, just wow! The "Parent Guide to Surviving Big School" is an absolute game-changer. No other book I’ve read about starting school gives insights from both a teacher and parent perspective. It tackles both the academic and emotional aspects of starting school, offers practical tips, as well as some valuable information about life in the classroom and navigating the school system as a parent. Seriously, if your kid is getting ready or about to start big school, do yourself a favour and grab this book!

  • "A parent bible for first time parents"

This is an easy to read guide for if your child is starting Kindergarten in Australia (or throughout the world). I would especially recommend this book for those enrolling their child into and Australian school from overseas as it covers the enrolment process too. It's great for if you are unsure if your child is ready to start school as it outlines what signs your child is ready or if they may need more time (and what to do if they do). I particularly like the final chapters with tips from parents and teachers. Some really good practical advice and strategies you can put into place for a smooth first year of schooling.
